NOVEMBER 3, 2008 - Announcing DSL service now available in parts of Linneus.  Click on  the map* below for a bigger version to see if our DSL service can be installed at your house or business.

Welcome AINOP Southern Aroostook wireless and cable customers - On August 29, 2008, Pioneer Broadband acquired the Southern Aroostook wireless and cable customers of Aroostook Internet.  Please feel free to email us at info@pioneerbroadband.net or call our office at 1-866-335-1254 with any questions or if you just want to get to know us.  You should have received an email with our contact information.  We plan to start integrating the networks during the week of September 2, 2008.  Until then we will make no changes to either the wireless or cable plant.  Prior to any maintenance activity we will notify you via email.  If you did not receive an email from us we plan on calling all customers next week to introduce our firm and our services.  At that time we will be updating our system with your contact information including email addresses so that you stay properly informed during the transition.  AINOP has agreed to letting you keep your email address for a while to minimize the impact on communications with your business partners, friends, and family.  We look forward to serving you.

Pioneer has completed a remote DSL installation to serve parts of the town of Linneus.  Watch for more installations throughout our coverage area.

Pioneer acquires the Southern Aroostook wireless and cable customers of Aroostook Internet.  We welcome the opportunity to serve our neighbors with high quality broadband services.

Pioneer completes new broadcast facility in Meddybemps.  Pioneer now has extended coverage to Meddybemps, Charlotte, Alexander, Cooper, and Baring from the MPBN tower on Conant Hill.  Please call or email for a free site survey.

Pioneer receives CLEC status from Maine PUC.  This status will allow Pioneer to offer a broader array of  broadband services to customers throughout the state.

Pioneer completes email server upgrades.  New server requires users to login with their entire email address.  This new system is replacing our 7-year old system and has enhanced SPAM controls.  If you experience any difficulties with email following this migration please contact Technical Support at 1-866-335-1254 ext. 3.
